Grey. Dark. Rainy. Cold. Storm-Winds. Depression.
Yes, you guessed right, Winter sets in. As usual, with a nice display of everything we like in that season. And on the 6th of Decembre, there is of course another lovely tradition, Santa Claus is coming, and, dear child, if you were not good, he might just call the Krampus!!   Unglaublich aber wahr: Schon wieder ist ein Jahr vorbei. Die CI5-Files feiern Ihren zweiten Geburtstag! :-) Diesmal kommt das Geburtstagsgeschenk von Gitti und Susi. Die beiden schreiben "Profis"-Stories auf deutsch. (für die, die sich bischen im Bereich der Fan-Fiction auskennen: Es handelt sich ausschließlich um sog. "Gen"-Stories <g>). Ich durfte einige sehen, und ich war schwer beeindruckt von der Fantasie, der Frische und dem originären Stil der Geschichten. Daraus entwickelte sich die Idee, diese spannenden, manchmal lustigen, doch immer berührenden Detektiv-Geschichten mit unseren Helden Bodie & Doyle in einer eigenen Unter-Abteilung der "CI5-Files" zu veröffentlichen.   Reality. Reality is what happens. What happened yesterday in America is Reality so phantastic, that the mind has problems following. When I heard through a phonecall, that... "the World Trade Center in New York is burning because an airplane hit it, and also the Pentagon is partly destroyed..." I laughed and was slightly angry because of the bad joke. Nevertheless, I did go online immediately. All of you know now, that every word I heard in that first call - was true. Since then, I have watched the same pictures again and again, without understanding them really any better. There is talk now of perhaps "...10.000 dead" This is war. And my deep regard goes to the victims, the families of the victims and all the helpers, who are at the moment desperately working to save the survivers of the catastrophe... more

Regarding the New Professionals and the "series 2"/
Und als Information für alle, die gespannt auf die zweite Staffel der "neuen Generation" der
Profis warten:

DWTV has informed me, that they are hard at work setting up the second series. Well, it
looks to me, that this is an adventure in itself, so I asked Heide Wilsher from DWTV if I
could ask in the next months a few questions to the setting up of such a production in
general. She being a hard-working woman, I appreciate it personally very much, that she is
so nice, to give here from time to time some answers:

I wondered, what is all necessary to happen before the actual filming, and how long it
needs. For example, what is with the scripts?

Heide Wilsher: "...we need at least 6 months to get scripts written."

  What do you do, when you are silly enough to send back the wrong videotapes (Of course I speak about my "Professionals"-videos) to the internet-shop you bought them from? When you are me, you only discover it after half a year. When you are lucky, you bought them with the friendly people from Blackstar. They were extremely nice in handling this situation. Danke schön, Barry! :-) I really want to recommend www. blackstar.co.uk for all purchases of English Videos or DVDs. They deliver worldwide. (Even to Germany <g>)

  Nunja... I did my best, to survive this years "battle-season" (I always think in these terms when it comes to describe, what I am doing for a living <g>) but it was so time-consuming, that I had to rest this website a little bit. In the meantime, Bodie-Fan Dinah sent me her in-depth-answers to my questions regarding hard man Bodie. You can find the interview with her here.

When the 70s were in it's 7th year, it happened in the country of England, that two new heroes where born. Actually, they weren't exactly heroes, more two guys from obscure origins, who met in a special unit to fight against the criminals. One of the good guys was William Andrew Philip Bodie. His fame spread around the world and infected also Australian Bodie-Fan Andi. What she thinks of Bodie, you can now read here.

Clever Doyle! Even after 20 years his charme is as big as ever.
British TV-watchers see "todays" man in the form of actor Martin Shaw quite often these days, but also the younger version of him, in the form of the legendary CI5-agent, is still so attractive, that also the young amongst us are not immune.<g> Read the new interview with British, 22 year old Doyle-Fan Jennie now here.

  Oh, what do I see? A Bodie-Fan? Yes! So finally, also the "Bodie Fan Page" get's started. It is the "mirror-image" of the Doyle-dedicated side and so will also bring interviews with fans - and so, see Mr Bodie, tough guy, CI5-agent since 1977, politically uncorrect as usual, through the eyes of his friends!   Through the Internet, people, fans, meet now worldwide - no borders anymore for a borderless phenomenon. And who give the deepest insights? Not the critiques - they do it because it is their profession - and they get money for it. Do we really want to have the paid opinion? I think, if you want a true picture - ask the Fans.
