Question: What says the way, Sam is
fighting, about him?
Answer: "He is physically
fit and strong. He controls his emotions very well and concentrates on the job
at hand. He protects Chris whenever he can and backs him up in dangerous
situations. He draws the fire and puts himself at risk so that Chris can "take
out" the bad guys." eye-witness Julia Anderson, 18. März

Evidence: "We see how fit
and strong Sam is in TUSK FORCE, here we have both the boys stuck out in the
African wilderness with help 300 miles away. The heat is draining them and they
have no water and Sam has to support and then carry a badly injured Chris only
collapsing with the effects of the heat and exhaustion when they come across
Mavoy and help.
SAMURAI WIND is another good example. Sam has been badly
injured and yet he is still able to run the length of the island and race to
the beach and back again to help Backup.
In GLORY DAYS both the boys do
a lot of running up and down the gang plank in what must be very hot and humid
conditions and are still able to run full pelt chasing after the
truck.
In PHOENIX we see them chasing Phoenix up a rather big flight of
stairs and on the the roof of the building without even looking
tired.
...a good example, where we see Sam controlling his emotions and
concentrating on the job at hand? Perhaps FIRST STRIKE?... In First Strike when
they come across the victims in the fishing village Sam is horrified and
disgusted by what has happened. Then the mask comes down as he shuts that scene
out and gets on with the job of fighting the Colonel and his men. He is a true
professional.
...He protects Chris: We see evidence of this in SAMURAI
WIND. They are both pinned down and Sam suggests the old 1-2. He draws the fire
so that Chris can come around behind the gunmen. In FIRST STRIKE, when they are
both pinned down by the gunmen it is Sam who breaks cover to draw their fire so
Chris can take them out. In SOUVENIR it is Sam who breaks cover and confronts
the man and woman" eye-witness Julia Anderson, protocolled 15. Mai 2000
Comment: In armour -
that is, what comes to my mind, when I look at the evidence, Julia gave to
protocoll. A vague picture of the knight, le chevalier, dem Ritter. Wasn't the
knight also a servant? Ein Diener des Königs - a servant of the King,
doing his duty. Which is, to fight. Ein Beruf, eine Berufung.* When fight is
profession, is then killing in the job-description? What is Sams - and Chris -
attitude to that?
